I totally agree! Read some of my comments.
"Punch Quest collaborator Kepa Auwae of Rocketcat Games said that 'It’s a good start” for the platform holder. “They’ve really been getting hammered lately by devs that soured on them, even developers that were made millionaires by XBLA,' said Auwae."
So true. They're lame as hell really, wannabe rockstars. I blame Cliffy B. for this.
I asked a simple question and was not bragging at all. Pull your skirt down.
Thanks Muerte, but I think MS has caught up and passed Sony in that respect--don't you think?
It's no doubt awesome but these indie devs are a bunch of pre-madonnas(some of them). They're gonna complain about there being too many terrible games being in the ecosystem but yet they won't acknowledge that having a publisher would help them stand out more, with money for promo, ads, etc... I'm sure these certain indie devs want a special slot for themselves to differentiate from people who might just be goofing off with fart apps and such. But if MS decides to cater to tha...
XB1 is looking better and better...
"You think devs are going to let you at freely available mods of all kinds on consoles instead of the DLC you pay for to extend a game's lifespan? No chance, completely unrealistic.
The context in which the comment was made and the way it was offered in reply to the specific question - this isn't an announcement of intent or any reason to get excited."
Devwan brings up a good point but if...
Can I buy a PS4 and use it to make games? Or do I have to buy a separate piece of kit for that?
But what is it less capable of? I'm still waiting...
Edit: You can pm me.
"After the all the 180's it just a more expensive less capable Ps4."
Less capable of what?
The hate is strong with this one.
How will sony fans top this...or spin this?
I like white electronics :/
It's crazy people are complaining about something that come with the console that would more than likely would be more if sold separate. Besides the fact that the console is built from the ground up to include the device just like the normal controller, it cost's $400 for the windows version of Kinect 2.0.
They should be targeting luxury resorts. Actually all game hardware companies should probably look into that.
I can't believe that kotaku guy said this wasn't next-gen xD
Ugh...
Hmmm...
"The Xbox One has already notched more preorders four months before its release date than the Xbox 360 did, a fact which Microsoft is flaunting as evidence that its high price tag and early gaming-rights controversy haven’t harmed momentum and interest in the new gaming console."
It's the games man, it's the games.
I said if they keep releasing those games. I'm on board because XB1 owners will have 15 exclusives within one year of launching, which is excellent and is a reason to be an early adopter. But they need to support the console with games all the way through.
This is flamebait. But if they keep releasing exclusives(new ips included) on a regular then they have a chance.
You'll have to ask MS.
